Online Passport Application Process In Saligramam

Visit the official Passport Portal.

You will have to register as a new user on the platform. Click on the option “New User Registration” on the left side of the page.

You will be redirected to the payment page. Pay the application fee using one of the listed online payment methods like Net Banking, UPI, Credit and Debit Card, etc.

Book your Saligramam Passport Office appointment based on your availability and preference.

Before you log out from the platform, download the receipt of your application. You must print it as it contains the Application Reference Number (ARN) that is required at the PSK on the day of your appointment. You will also receive an SMS on your registered mobile number containing details of the appointment.

On the day of the appointment, you will be required to carry documents as specified on the site. The PSK in Saligramam will check your application and verify your documents before proceeding to the next steps of passport issuance. Once you complete the police verification, your passport will be issued and sent to your registered address via speed post.

An important thing to remember:

If you cannot make it to the PSK on the scheduled date and time of the appointment, you can reschedule it. However, you only get two chances to reschedule the appointment. Post this, you will be required to apply and pay the fees again.

Offline Passport Application Process In Saligramam

The offline process is not completely offline. While you will be able to fill out the application form offline, other processes need to be completed online. Here are the steps:

Visit the Passport Seva website.

Download the PDF of the application form through the “Download E-Form” option under the tab “Forms and Affidavits.”

Upload the form to the site by clicking on the “Upload E-Form” link.

Click “Submit.”

The rest of the steps are the same as the online process detailed above which includes paying the application fees online, scheduling an appointment with the Saligramam Passport Office, and making it to the appointment with the requested documents.
