Austria Visa for Indians

You must produce the following papers to the Austria Consulate or Embassy in order to apply for an Austria Schengen Visa:

• Valid Indian passport having a minimum of 6 months validity and also 3 blank pages, including any previous passports

• Austria Schengen visa application form

• Two recently taken passport-sized pictures

• Personal cover letter (for self-employed individuals - company letterhead; for employed individuals - plain A4 size paper)

• Proof of enrollment at an educational institution (if you’re a student)

• Certificate of No Objection (NOC) from your previous school, college, or university

• Original revised six-month bank statement

• Income tax returns (ITR) for the last 3 years

• Return flight tickets (confirmed)

• Proof of accommodation

• Day-wise accommodation

• Travel medical insurance (you must have a minimum coverage of €30,000)

Additional Papers if You Are an Employed Individual:

• A contract of employment.

• A letter from your recruiter granting you a leave of absence. It must include all necessary information, such as your personal information, your employer's information, the length of your absence from work, and proof that you can support yourself financially.

• Bank statements from the past six months

• An Income Tax Return form

Additional Papers if You Are a Self-Employed Individual:

• A copy of your company's licence.

• Form of Income Tax Return (ITR).

• Bank statements over the preceding six months for your organisation.

Additional Papers if You Are a Student:

• Proof of enrolment in a reputable educational institution.

• Also, a letter from your educational institution authorising your absence from classes.

Additional Papers if You Are a Retired Individual

• A certificate proving your retirement status (or any similar paper).

• Pension statement over the preceding six months
