Learning Licence in Chhattisgarh

Essentially, a learning licence is a temporary document that states that its holder is learning to drive. It is a government-authorised document that enables novice riders to practise driving on public roads in the presence of an experienced licence holder.

A learner’s licence issued in Chhattisgarh is valid for a period of six months from its issuance date. A learning licence holder can apply for a permanent licence after 30 days of issuance of a learner’s licence.

A commercial vehicle learning licence in Chhattisgarh is issued to individuals who have attained the age of 20 years. Additionally, to procure a commercial vehicle learner’s licence, the applicant must hold a permanent driving licence for an LMV for no less than one year.

To apply for a learning licence of a private vehicle, the applicant must at least be 18 years old

Applicants who are 16 years old can only apply for a learning licence for a motorcycle not exceeding an engine capacity of 50cc

Learning Licence in Chhattisgarh Online Application Process

Step 1: Visit the official Parivahan website
