Following are the Kerala RTO parking rules that every vehicle owner has to follow while they park their vehicle:

1. Whenever you park your car on a road, make sure it is done in a way that does not create danger, block others, or cause problems. If signs or markings are telling you how to park, follow them.

2. Do not park your vehicle:

Close to a road crossing, bend, hilltop, or humpbacked bridge. This could make it hard for others to see or drive.

On a footpath where people walk.

Near a traffic light or a place where people cross the road.

On a main road with fast-moving traffic.

Across from another parked car or in a way that blocks others.

Next to another parked car.

On roads marked with a continuous white line, with or without a broken line.

Close to a bus stop, school, hospital entrance, or anything that has a traffic sign or leads to a building or fire hydrant.

On the wrong side of the road.

Where parking is not allowed.

3. Ensure that your vehicle is parked close to the edge of the footpath when you park.

A. Utilising the Parivahan website:

Visit the E-challan Parivahan site.

Select "Pay Online."

Opt for either "Challan Number," "Vehicle Number," or "DL number."

Provide the necessary details.

B. Using the Kerala Traffic Police Website:

Select your preferred payment method – credit/debit cards, net banking, or digital wallets.

Save or print the payment receipt for your records and check for a confirmation message.

C. Mobile Wallet Payment (Paytm):

Install the Paytm app for seamless payment.

Next, go to the Challan Bill Payment page..

Put in your Vehicle Number.

Select and mark the due fine to be paid.

Choose the payment option from Paytm Wallet, net banking and other available options.

Verify the OTP sent by mail and phone to complete the payment.

Download the receipt.

Offline Payment

For offline payment of a no-parking fine in Kerala, you have a few options to consider:

Cash Payment to Officer:

Visit any Kerala Traffic Police officer in person, hand over the cash amount, and make sure to get a receipt as proof of payment. This can be done at various locations where traffic officers are stationed.

Cheque/Demand Draft at Headquarters:
