A vehicle registration certificate, also known as an RC, is a government-recognised document issued to vehicle owners by Regional Transport Offices (RTOs). This certificate serves as the identity of a vehicle and contains a unique registration number.

According to Section 39 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, no vehicle can be used on the road without a registration certificate.

Any person found driving a vehicle without this certificate will have to pay a fine. For this reason, every vehicle owner gets his vehicle registered right after purchasing it to get the Registration Certificate (RC) book.

This post is going to discuss the ways through which you can download RC copy from the comfort of your home.
